Privacy policy
DataPrism Limited ("we", "our", or "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, operates the dataprism.co website. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website.
1. The Principle of Data Minimization
Our core philosophy is that data should not persist where it is not needed. We apply this same principle to our own operations. We collect only the absolute minimum information required to operate our website and communicate with you.
2. Information We Collect
- Contact Form Data: When you submit the form on our contact page, we collect your name, your work email address, and the message you choose to write. Section 3 explains how this data is handled.
- Communication Data: When you contact us via email or apply for a job, we receive the information you choose to provide.
- Usage Data: We may collect anonymous, aggregate telemetry to improve website performance. This data cannot be used to identify individuals or reconstruct user data.
3. The Contact Form
The form on our contact page collects three fields: your name, your work email address, and an optional message. We use this information for a single purpose: responding to your request, whether that is scheduling a walkthrough, answering a question, or following up on your interest in the design partner program. It is never added to a marketing list, shared with third parties for their own purposes, or used for profiling.
Form submissions are received and stored by Netlify, the platform that hosts this website, acting as a data processor on our behalf. Netlify holds submissions so that we can read and answer them, and does not use them for its own purposes.
We keep form submissions only as long as needed to handle your request, and no longer than twelve months after our last exchange, unless we enter into a business relationship with you or a longer period is required by law. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your submission at any time using the contact address below.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information solely for:
- Responding to your inquiries, form submissions, or applications.
- Improving the technical performance of our website.
- Legal compliance, where strictly mandated.
5. Audience Measurement
We measure how the site is used, with Plausible Analytics. It sets no cookie and writes nothing to your device. Data is processed in the European Union by Plausible Insights OU, an Estonian company, on servers in Germany, Slovenia and Finland.
What is recorded: the page visited, the referring site, the browser and operating system in broad terms, the type of device, and the country and city derived from the network address. The network address itself is not stored: it is combined with the site name and a value that is discarded every twenty four hours, so a visit cannot be traced back to you or joined to a visit on any other site. We hold these figures as aggregate statistics, and they are pseudonymised rather than anonymous, which is why we describe them precisely rather than claiming they fall outside data protection law.
We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding which pages are read, so that we can improve them. We do not profile visitors, we do not use this for advertising, and we never combine it with anything you send us through the contact form.
The choice is stored in your browser and takes effect immediately: once set, the measurement script is no longer loaded at all, so nothing is requested from Plausible. Clearing your browser storage undoes it.
